Ingredients:
4 white hamburger buns
1 ½ pounds Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef, 80/20 lean
2 c shredded iceberg lettuce
8 slices vine-ripe tomatoes
2 tsp hot sauce
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp grated yellow onion
½ c mayonnaise
2 tbsp butter, room temperature
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 slices American cheese
1 ½ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp pepper
Directions:
Use your clean hands to shape the ground beef into eight even meatballs. Place them inside the fridge while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Add mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, grated onion, and Worcestershire sauce into a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed, then refrigerate.
Put a large cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
Add butter and let it melt.
Add the buns, then toast each side and transfer onto clean separate plates.
Add the meatballs into the hot skillet and use a spatula to gently press each to flatten. Season with sauce, salt, and pepper. Sear one side for about 3 minutes, then flip them. Top each with cheese and sear for another minute, then remove from the skillet.
Assemble the burgers to your likeness.
Serve and enjoy!
