Ingredients:
½ c Bisquick mix
1 c milk
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
3 large Eggs
½ c chopped white onion
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef
1 tsp minced garlic
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Apply cooking spray in a 9-inch round deep pie plate.
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.
Add the onion and sauté until soft. Discard accumulated excess fat.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Move the beef mixture to the prepared pie plate and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the beef mixture. Be generous!
Add eggs, Bisquick mix, and milk into a bowl, then whisk until well blended.
Pour the mixture over the beef mixture and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and if a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve warm and enjoy!
