I love Reese’s! I am so glad that I have found this amazing recipe online. I love the extra scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It made this treat heavenly! Make sure to follow all the ingredients and directions for the best result, but feel free to add more ingredients if you wish. For example, you can try a different flavour of ice cream for the topping. One of these days, I will try mango ice cream. I think it would taste amazing as well. Ingredients:
1 Box Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix (oil, eggs, water)
8 oz softened cream cheese
½ cup softened butter
½ Creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups powdered sugar
½ cup chocolate chips
1 cup miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups unwrapped and cut in halves
Directions:
Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply non-stick cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add in the chocolate fudge ingredients, eggs, oil, and water. Stir until well mixed.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 5: In another mixing bowl, add in the butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and peanut butter. Stir until well combined.
Step 6: Add in the sugar gradually and stir every addition until well mixed.
Step 7: Spoon the peanut butter mixture and spread it over the chocolate layer.
Step 8: Sprinkle chocolate chips and ½ of Reese’s peanut butter over the peanut butter layer.
Step 9: Bake inside the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Step 10: Remove from the oven.
Step 11: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each serving. Enjoy!
